The 2026 Apostolic Invasion, themed Overflowing, moved into its third night on Wednesday at the Headquarters Auditorium, Oke-Maro, Amoyo, with Rev’d Bola Payimo taking the podium to minister to the KHGM family and the many visitors who have made the revival part of their week. Three nights in, the pattern has remained the same — a full house, a congregation that stays alert from start to finish, and a word that leaves people looking forward to the next night.
Members and guests arrived early, Bibles and notebooks in hand, and settled in ahead of the service. Even before ministration began, the atmosphere in the hall was already charged, with people standing, praying, and preparing their hearts to receive whatever God had for them that night.
The Choir Sets the Tone
The night opened with the choir leading the congregation into worship, their voices filling the auditorium and setting the atmosphere for what was to come. By the time they were done, the hall was already warmed up, hearts positioned and ready to receive the word.
A Word Delivered With Fire
When Rev’d Bola Payimo stepped up to minister, it was clear from the first few minutes that this was not going to be an ordinary message. He preached with deep conviction, his voice rising and falling with every point, arms stretched out as he called the congregation to attention. It was the kind of preaching that does not allow anybody in the room to fold their arms and watch from a distance — everybody was drawn in.
Ministering from Psalm 23:5, he reminded the congregation that God prepares a table for His own even in the presence of their enemies, and that overflowing is not just a theme for the convention but a reality God is positioning His people to walk in. He moved on to 2 Kings 4:1-7, using the story of the widow’s oil to teach the congregation about faith, obedience, and what happens when a person releases what little they have in their hands for God to multiply. He tied it together with Luke 6:38, driving home the truth that giving is the very channel through which overflow comes — that a people who give will always find themselves on the receiving end of God’s abundance.
Line after line, he stressed that a true child of God cannot afford to be lukewarm in a season like this, and the hall responded with claps, shouts of agreement, and open Bibles turning from one scripture to another.
Ministering Right at the Podium
The preaching moved into a moment of deep prayer, as Rev’d Payimo, standing right at the podium alongside one of the ministers, prayed fervently over the congregation. The intensity in the room was unmistakable — heads bowed, voices lifted in agreement, everybody caught up in the weight of what was being spoken over their lives.
Apostle Blessing Salami Speaks on the Journey So Far
Before the night closed, Apostle Blessing Salami stepped up to address the congregation directly, reflecting on how powerful the messages had been from Day 1 right through to Day 3. He commended the consistency of the words that had gone forth each night and encouraged the congregation not to relent, reminding them that what they had received so far was building toward something even greater as the convention continued. His words added a sense of expectation for the nights still ahead.
Worship That Shook the Building
As has become familiar through this convention, the preaching gave way to worship, and the whole congregation rose together. Hands went up, voices went up, and for those minutes, nobody in the auditorium was sitting on the fence. Young people, elders, first-time visitors, everybody stood as one, praising God with everything in them.
More Nights Ahead
With three nights of revival now behind it, the Apostolic Invasion continues nightly at 5pm through Friday, before it builds into the Festival of Praise on Saturday and the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday. Night after night, this convention keeps proving that its theme is not just a name — Overflowing is exactly what is happening, in the crowd that keeps growing, in the worship that keeps rising, and in a word that keeps drawing people back for more.
